Review consumer workarounds

Doctor compares extra overrides supplied directly to defineConfig() against that project’s installed composer. For sampled Astro files, it can report an explicit TypeScript parser or a known disabled Astro rule that the generated configuration already supplies. The report names the field and evidence file. It never removes a whole override block, and does not inspect overrides appended after the composer returns or configs without composer metadata.

Review every affected glob, then rerun lint, typecheck, and autofix twice before removing a candidate field. A match on one file does not prove redundancy across all files. Doctor inspects up to 32 Astro files in nonhidden source directories at up to eight directory levels. If effective-config comparison fails, it reports the failure and retains the overrides.

Each JSON project includes lintOwnership.localConfig, lintScript, and guidance. The verbose report explains root-owned versus independently linted app choices. This is an inventory of declarations, not an assertion about the configuration executed by an arbitrary lint wrapper.

When doctor --fix adds a missing lint script, it creates eslint . --max-warnings=0. Existing scripts remain unchanged.
